What is CAS ?

What is CAS you might ask if you did not yourself take the IB. Well let me explain to you the concept of CAS. First of all what does the letters CAS represent. CAS is an acronym for Creativity, Action and Service, the three categories.

The goal of CAS is that you at the end of your two years of IB have met several learning outcomes:

  • Increased your awareness of your own strength and ares for growth 
  • Undertaken new challenges 
  • Planned and initiated activities 
  • Worked collaboratively with others 
  • Shown perseverance and commitment in your activities 
  • Engaged with issues of global importance
  • Consiered the ethical implication of your actions 
  • Devloped new skills
